English: Crepidotus albescens- specimen from locality: Mohican State Park, Ashland, Ohio, USA. Found growing on a hardwood log. Caps with a basal tomentum. Odor not distinctive. Clamps present in the pileipellis and the lamellar trama. Cheilocystidia hyaline and capitate. Basidia 4-sterigmate. Spores brown, thick-walled, apparently smooth and subglobose. Spores: (5.4) 5.6 – 6.2 (6.8) × (4.9) 5.1 – 5.7 (6.2) µm, Q = (1) 1.1 – 1.15 (1.2); N = 30, Me = 5.9 × 5.4 µm; Qe = 1.1 |
