English: Corfe Castle station (restored), 1986. View SE, towards Swanage: former ex-LSWR Wareham - Swanage line, closed (line and station) 3/1/72. The line was restored in stages from Swanage by the heritage Swanage Steam Railway from 8/75, to a final link-up with the main line again not until 4/09. Corfe Castle station was reopened on 12/8/95. |
