Summary

Description
English: Supposed Roman bridge on south bank of River Tees at Cliffe, Richmondshire, England. This area was cleared for gravel extraction in the 1940s, then these stones were put back and labelled as a Roman bridge. It is now suggested that the remains could be a jetty or dam.
