Summary

Description
English: Built by Electro-Motive Division in November of 1952, this GP7 1500hp unit served most in passenger service around Jersey City. It merged into Conrail as #5902 and then purchased by NJDOT before being transferred to NJ Transit ownership in December of 1976. This diesel was one of 2 that pulled the last passenger train on the Higbridge Branch. After retiring, it was donated to the United RR Historical Museum in Boonton, NJ where it was repainted in its original CNJ colors.
