Description

Cérémonie dans le grand temple de la Sainte Mère à Tay Ninh, au Vietnam

Le Cao Daï (Palais Suprême) est une religion, fondée en 1926 et reconnue officiellement au Vietnam dont le Saint Siège est à Tay Ninh à une centaine de kilomètres d'Ho Chi Minh Ville (ancienne Saïgon)

La doctrine caodaïste s'inspire du Bouddhisme mahayana, du Taoïsme et du Confucianisme, les trois principales religions rencontrées au Vietnam.

A droite dans la nef, des dignitaires dont les couleurs des soutanes correspondent aux trois branches du Caodaïsme. Les prêtres et les fidèles sont vêtus de blanc.
