Downloaded from [1], the website of the Danish Military History Society; == Photographer == The British photographer (born Swinbrook, Oxfordshire) was Captain Douglas George Pearman (1894-1977), of the Imperial Camel Corps. The same image can be found in the PEARMAN DOUGLAS (CAPTAIN) COLLECTION of the Imperial War Museum here http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205022212 .

This image, and the images in the IWM Pearman collection, were likely to have been first published in the 1920s in a series of (unsighted) lectures by Pearman about T.E. Lawrence and the Arab Revolt, and then later published in a 1928 book authored by Pearman and Lawrence (also unsighted) http://www.worldcat.org/title/imperial-camel-corps-with-colonel-lawrence-illustrated-by-a-series-of-89-lantern-slides-and-lawrence-and-the-arab-revolt-illustrated-by-a-series-of-70-lantern-slides/oclc/15180565/editions?referer=di&editionsView=true
