Description
Interior with a man reading from a book resting on his knee. He is sitting next to his wife who is sitting next to a spinning wheel while holding a reel. On the flor lie a colander with mussles, a pipe and a jug; to the left a bundle of carrots. A bird cage is hanging from the ceiling; to the right a bundle of unions, a pair of bellows, a candleholder and a lantern are hanging from the wall.
