English: There are two big bells in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square premises. The main gate or Vatsala of the palace is to the west and north of the Bhagwati temple. These hours are kept by Bhupatindra Malla. The bell is ringing so loudly that the market is buzzing and the dogs are barking. Therefore, this bell is popularly known as the dog's bell.
