Deutsch: Das Bauamulett des Basler Hofs in Freiburg. Es befindet sich heute im Museum für Stadtgeschichte Freiburg mit der Inventarnummer: H 51/010. Durchmesser ca. 80mm, Höhe 11mm
Es ist eine handtellergroße runde Bleidose bestehend aus Boden und Deckel, beide sind mit astrologischen Gravuren verziert und es gehören kleine plastische Figuren dazu. Es sind 3 Figuren: Ein Löwe, eine Schlange und ein Kind. Alle 3 Teile haben einen kleinen Pin auf der Rückseite, im Boden der Dose und dem Deckel ist jeweils eine entsprechende Bohrung. Es wird angenommen dass es sich um ein Horoskop handelt. Die Bleikapsel wurde 1950 unversehrt neben dem Hauptportal in den Trümmern des 1944 zerstörten Hauses gefunden. Es ist auch nicht bekannt ob das Objekt aus einem der Vorgängerbauten stammt oder für den Bau des großen Stadthauses durch Konrad Stürzel von Buchheim zwischen 1480 und 1500 hergestellt wurde. Die Schlange und der Löwe passen in beide Bohrungen, so dass zwei Konfigurationen möglich sind, die ursprüngliche Konfiguration ist nicht bekannt, es ist auch nicht bekannt ob die Figuren ursprünglich fest oder beweglich angebracht waren.
Hier Variante 1. In der ursprünglichen Anordnung, war der Kopf der Schlange anders als hier abgebildet unten. Die Bilder kamen zustande mit der freundlichen Unterstützung des Museum für Stadtgeschichte. |
