However, it is still copyrighted in the United States due to the Uruguay Round Agreements Act, in which the work was still copyrighted in the Philippines when it took effect on January 1, 1996. Thus, it will enter public domain in the United States on January 1, 2043, 70 years after the death of the author since the date of creation (which is unpublished) is currently unknown.
