Français : Portrait d'Alexandrine-Florence-Virginie-Casimire Thevenet de Montgarrel (morte en 1827), fille de Joseph Thevenet, employé supérieur à la loterie royale, nationale puis impériale de France et de Thérèse Félicité Ledoux ; épouse en 1805 Amédée Madeleine Charles Gillet Ducoudray (1778-1829), secrétaire intime puis conseiller du Cabinet de Louis Bonaparte, roi de Hollande. Cinq enfants naissent de cette union : Louis Eugène Napoléon en 1806, Alexandre Eugène Gillet Ducoudray en 1808, Euphrosine Virginie Gillet Ducoudray en 1810, Alexandrine Laeticia Gillet Ducoudray en 1812 et Alexandre Joseph Amédée en 1816.
Mlle Thevenet de Montgarrel porte une robe superposée de tissus vaporeux orange et blanc, ceinturée sous la poitrine par un ruban de soie. Ses cheveux bouclés sont ramassés en un chignon souple placé assez haut et maintenu par un peigne. Des accroche-coeurs encadrent son visage. Une parure de bijoux en cornaline ou en corail complète sa tenue. Mlle Thevenet de Montgarrel est représentée entourée de partitions de musique, devant son piano-forte fabriqué par Sébastien Érard. On distingue sur le pupitre le titre en lettres d’or de la tragédie lyrique en trois actes d’Antonio Sacchini : Œdipe à la colonne. À gauche, est placée la partition de L’Ariodant, un drame en trois actes et en prose par François-Benoît Hoffman, mêlé de musique d’Etienne Nicolas-Méhul. Enfin, la jeune femme désigne L'Amour filial, opéra en un acte, par Charles-Albert Demoustier, sur une musique de Pierre Gavaux. On lit facilement le 3e couplet : « Moi, chaque matin, je reçois / Le premier baiser de mon père ». |
