Description

The former Acrow Halt railway station, at the north-east edge of Saffron Walden, Essex, England. It was opened in 1957, and closed in 1964. The track is disused. It and the station are now hidden by vegetation, and any remaining structures under the vegetation are depleted and damaged.

This image of the former working station cannot be replaced by a photographer visiting the site today, because the site no longer looks like that - it's a ruin covered in vegetation. The ruin is not the subject of the article. A search (online, libraries, archives, books etc.) has been made for free image of the working station, but none has been found.

Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)

This has been reduced to a thumbnail image, unsuitable for commercial use. The image will be used to identify Acrow Halt railway station, which is the subject of the article Acrow Halt railway station.
