1st Battalion:

  • Description: A blue oval-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow outer border and a 1/4 inch (.64 cm) yellow border with a 3/32 inch (.24 cm) wide blue notch at the horizontal center line; 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height by 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall.
  • Background: The trims for the Regiment and 2d Battalion were approved on 8 July 1992. The trims for the 1st and 3d Battalions were approved on 28 January 1992.
