Description Postcard of 1910-1914 showing the third Herne Bay Pier which was built 1899. The image is dated from its contents. The Grand Pier Pavilion was built in 1910 and the theatre at the pier entrance was burned down in 1928. The women in the photograph are wearing pre-1914 fashions. This card must have been reprinted later, as the postmark is 22 July 1926.
