Summary

Description
English: Approach path works beside the mouth of the River Kelvin, for the new Govan-Partick Bridge. Built in Belgium and towed to Glasgow by tug Elisa (IMO 9688879), it arrived on 14 October 2023 at the Pointhouse Quay site adjacent to the Riverside Museum car park. Its moving main span was lifted into place on 17 October by floating sheerleg crane Hebo-Lift 10. Work continues on the north pier and northern approach works, in preparation for installation of the connecting fixed span.
