Summary
| Description | 21 West 26th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1880-81 for John Jacob Astor III, and was designed by Thomas Stent in the Queen Anne style. The building, and later the one next door at 23 West 26th, served as the headquarters of the Astor family's real-estate empire. Since 1979, it has been occupied by the Writers House literary agency.
