Summary

Description

The Phase I was built from 1947-53. The styling of the Saloon resembled the pre-war Plymouth with a sloping beetle-back. Available in Saloon, Estate and the Australian Utility. Vanguard Utiltys were made in Australia from 1950-64

There was an update in 1952; the bonnet came lower and it got a more open grille.
