Summary

Description
English: North Pacific Right Whale - A breach, far away
Date
Source Own work
Author NPRW4ever (Jim Scarff)

Right whale breach relatively frequently. As seems frequently to be the case, the whale had last surfaced off the stern of the 85 foot whale-watching boat. A fe minutes later it began breaching about 200 meters in front of the bow, setting off a stampede among the several naturalists, myself included, that nearly trampled the other passengers. The whale breached four (?) times, but it was not until the last breach that I had made it to the bow to get this poor shot.
