File consists of 30 photographs of existing conditions on a section of Eglinton Avenue East to be widened. Intersections documented include those with Rumsey Road, Sutherland Drive, Laird Drive, and Brentcliffe Road. Some of the photographs document small multi-plex apartment buildings, on the south side, at #747-749 and 755-767. Among the numerous businesses documented, on the north side, are: Leaside Pharmacy, #784; Lowe Brothers Hardware, #796; Mewhort Fine Footwear, #800; Leaside Bible Chapel, #824; Hostess open Kitchen, #834; Leaside Shoe Service, #856; Mel Andrews Mens Wear, #858; and a toronto Dominion bank branch, #876. Also appearing in the photographs are the Rogers- Majestic plant, the Marshall Ventilated Mattress Co., #849, and the Watson-Foster plant, #939.
